Safeguarding & Data Statement
For schools, trusts, and organisations booking CPD or consultancy with MR F Education.
Professional background
Chris Fewster (MR F) is a former secondary Computer Science teacher with KS3 and KS4 classroom experience. All CPD content is grounded in that practice and aligned with responsible, pupil-safe use of AI.
DBS & insurance
- Enhanced DBS certificate available on request prior to on-site delivery
- Public liability insurance details available on request for procurement and risk assessment processes
Safeguarding approach
AI training for schools must protect pupils, staff, and institutions. Sessions emphasise:
- Clear boundaries between staff AI use and student AI use
- GDPR-compliant handling of personal and pupil data
- Age-appropriate expectations and academic integrity
- Alignment with KCSIE principles and your school's existing policies
Standard CPD sessions do not require access to pupil records, MIS systems, or identifiable student data.
Data handling during CPD
- Enquiry forms collect only the information needed to respond and plan delivery
- No pupil data should be submitted via website contact forms
- Session materials are provided digitally; schools remain responsible for their own device and network policies
- Remote sessions use school-approved platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom) wherever possible
On-site visits
For in-person delivery, schools should provide the same safeguarding information given to any external provider, including signing-in procedures, emergency contacts, and a designated staff contact for the session.
